Host Analytics has released their 4th Quarter 2014 Feature Release, with new features and functionality enhancements. Below is the summary of those included features and descriptions.
Duplicate Host Analytics Sessions
We’ve put controls in place to avoid complications with duplicate sessions. Now, users can’t be logged into more than one Host Analytics session. If you’re already logged into a Host Analytics application from one session, you must logout of your current session to login to a different Host Analytics application. And, if you have multiple user login credentials (which might be the case for administrative type users), you will still be required to logout of one session to access another. A message will be displayed when attempting to login to a duplicate session.
Offline Planning Single Sign On (SSO)
In August we released Offline Planning SSO functionality, which allows you to use your SSO to login and download Offline Planning templates. Your password is set through Maintenance, My Settings, User Information.
With this release, Offline Planning SSO users can login to Offline Planning using their SSO username and create a password unique to Offline Planning only (unique to the Host Analytics application; to be used to log into Offline Planning templates). On the Change Password page (accessed by navigating to Maintenance, My Settings, User Information and clicking on the Change Password button), for Offline Planning SSO input your new password. When your password is setup for SSO type users for the first time, Host Analytics does not ask for a current password, however, for all subsequent password changes, Host Analytics will check for a current password. You must know your current password in order for Host Analytics to accept a new password (see Current Password field in image below). If you’ve forgotten your current password, contact your administrator.
User Management Page Enhancement
The User Management page (accessed by navigating to Maintenance, Administration, User Management) now displays external users that have access to your application. For example, if a Host Analytics Support user logs into your application, their information will be visible. External user details cannot be edited; however, business type users can change the navigation access for an external user.
Known & Resolved Issues
Known application issues we are working to resolve and resolved application issues are located in the Knowledge Base Announcements. (Requires user authentication)
