After loading account balances into Host Analytics, a common issue users encounter is trouble with retrieving actual data using Host Analytics Reports even after they verify the data is loaded using the “Verify Data” option in Host.
This occurs because of two issues in the Host system. The first is the Host system needs to know that the data is loaded and ready for processing. The second reason is the cube needs to be processed. Below are steps to correct this issue.
1) Click Maintenance, then Lock Data.
2) On the Actual Data Load Months tab select the month or months that you loaded data to and click Save.
4) If this is the first time you are loading data to a new fiscal year, on the Cube Status tab, select Financial as the reporting area, then click Add Partition. Otherwise, proceed to step 6.
5) Verify the Actual scenario is selected and select the new fiscal year from the time hierarchy. Click Save.
Now you can retrieve the actual data you loaded in Host Analytics Reports!
