Scenario Seeding Enhancements
Closed Period Seeding From Forecast Scenarios; with this feature, users can seed closed period data. This means that closed periods in Forecast scenarios can now be seeded to the Budget scenario allowing users to take advantage of this baseline data.
Subline Template Data Seeding Improvements; this improvement addresses the following data seeding challenges for Sublines:
- Data seeded for lines with no account mapping is not displayed in the Subline template.
- Data seeded for lines with account mapping is not displayed in the Main and Subline template.
This occurs when periods correspond to data seeded from a Forecast scenario with closed periods in the Referenced scenario. The Change by Period data seeding option allows data to be seeded from varying scenario and period mappings for new planning scenario templates based upon Destination Account mapping.
Workforce Planning Google Chrome Support and Employee Enhancements
Workforce Planning application pages (accessed by navigating to Budget, Operating Budget and selecting a Scenario, HR template, and associated Employee), are now supported in Chrome.
Host has redone the Workforce Planning, Employee Add/Edit interface for a consistent and enhanced user experience. Employee reports available from the Employee list page “More” menu are now available in Chrome. The Maintenance Employee List page is also now supported in Chrome. Access this page by navigating to Maintenance, HR Budget, Detailed HR.
Budget Control Panel Google Chrome Support
The Budget Control Panel is now supported in Chrome. When the Budget Control Panel is launched from Chrome, Workforce Planning templates (HR) are available for accessible entities. No other templates are supported at this time. Standard Reports are not supported, nor are options such as; Edit Scenario and Scenario Description.
Workdays Setup Google Chrome Support
Export to Excel, Print Setup and Print are now enabled for Workdays Setup in Google Chrome. Workdays Setup is accessed in Host Analytics by navigating to Maintenance, Administration, Workdays Setup. Workdays are used in Detailed HR for the calculation of employee salaries (if the Calculation Basis is set to Workdays) and may be added as lines in Template Based HR templates.
Dynamic Report Enhancements
Currently, a Dynamic Report, with 3 default header lines, starts on Line ID 13 in the Excel view while the first line on the Report Set or Financial Report starts at Line ID 10. With this enhancement, all existing, new, and migrated Dynamic Reports will start on the first row at Line ID 10 when there are 3 header lines. If a Dynamic Report contains applied Formula Exceptions, the formulas are automatically adjusted by the system (due to the shift of rows from line 13 to line 10) and the data is displayed accurately.
When a user prints a Dynamic Report, the Print Setup dialog page is displayed. On the Print Setup dialog, a Delete all extra Rows & Columns checkbox is available for selection. Selecting the checkbox removes extra data rows and columns from the Excel Export. If the check box is not selected, the Row IDs of the output in Excel match with the Row IDs within the Excel view of the report. The Delete all extra Rows & Columns setting is carried forward to Report Book and Report Collection Excel outputs.
Ability to save Text and Image type Documents to the Local Machine
When a document (image or text) is opened in the File Cabinet, a notification is now displayed providing the user with options to open the document or save it to the local machine.
SSO (Single Sign On) Support for AirliftXL, Excel Query Add-In and Web Services
Host Analytics offers various plug-ins (add-ins), which provide users with additional functionality. Users may now use an SSO to access AirliftXL, the Excel Query Add-In, and Web Services. In addition to SSO support, there is a new enhancement, which requires a valid Host Analytics user ID (Login) for Web Services access. Contact Host Analytics to enable this functionality.
Password Reset for Single Sign On Users
This functionality is available for SSO users and is applicable for the Excel Query Add-in, Airlift XL, Offline Planning and Web Services configuration. Users must contact Host Analytics to enable this functionality. Once enabled, SSO users will have a Reset option available on the My Settings/User Information tab (accessed by navigating to Maintenance, My Settings, User Information).
Employee Number Lock (Opt In)
With this feature users can lock an employee number. Users might want to use this feature when employees have several positions. Employee numbers for new employees will automatically be created once this feature is enabled. If employee information needs adjusted, users must do so outside of Host Analytics. Users must also manually reconcile their data.
Hierarchy Management Update
This update resolves the “element not found” issue in Hierarchy Management. This issue occurred because the Hierarchy Management application page allowed a single save action for multiple changes.
Retry Option for Financial Package Publisher, Report Collection and Report Book
If a Dynamic Report in a Report Book, Report Collection or Financial Package Publisher fails due to concurrent processes running or OLAP connectivity issues, Host Analytics will automatically perform a reprocess. The maximum number of retries allowed is 3.
Single User Processing of Identical Report Books or Report Collections
If a user submits a request to run a Report Book or Report Collection while the same Report Book or Report Collection is already running, a message is displayed indicating that the Report Book or Report Collection is already running and the new request is not executed.
If two different users on the same or different application submit a request to process the same Report Book or Report Collection simultaneously, both requests are executed. Users may run two different Report Books or Report Collections simultaneously.
