Dell Boomi has added the following improvements to the February 2016 release of Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
Protecting sensitive data
To mitigate security concerns for processes handling more sensitive data, there is a now a process-level option for purging documents and temporary data immediately upon the completion of execution.
The following enhancements should result in improvements to AtomSphere performance:
- There are new Data Process shape options for performing search and replace operations on documents by searching incrementally. These options are particularly useful for larger documents.
- Several metrics are now available for monitoring an Atom’s message queue service using JMX.
In addition, with this release performance challenges related to process deployment and Atom message queuing are resolved.
Parameters usability improvements
Wherever you can configure Connectors, the Parameters tab is enhanced to include the parameter name and link to the source operation.
When parameters exist on a Start or Connector shape, the process canvas shows an overview of the number of parameters set or if the parameters include errors.
Additionally, the Properties dialogs for the Message, Notify and Program Command shapes include more in-application help about specifying and inserting variables.
Web Service component usability improvements
The Web Service Component tabs are redesigned to improve usability and to provide more in-application help.
In the General tab, several items are moved from the previous Metadata tab including the title, version, and description.
The Meta Information tab is renamed “Published Information” and the information is better grouped to improve usability.
Canceling process executions
You are now prompted to ensure that you want to cancel a pending process execution after clicking Cancel Process Execution.
Governance — audit logs
Administrators and users who have the View Audit Logs privilege can see the following in the audit log:
- Requests to switch from one account to another by means of the account menu.
- Requests to view processed documents in Manage > Process Reporting.
- Requests to download processed documents in Manage > Process Reporting.
These audit log entries distinguish between successful and failed requests.
When setting up a database profile, you can browse tables in cloud-based databases in the Database Import Wizard without an on-premise Atom.
Halogen TalentSpace connector
A new connector for the talent management solution Halogen TalentSpace is available.
HTTP Client connector
You can override OAuth 2.0 settings in the HTTP Client connection in the UI or via the API. This enhancement applies to processes deployed to Atoms and environments and single- and multi-install packs, and also applies to processes running in test mode.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM connector
The Microsoft Dynamics CRM connector supports the 2015 on-premise version and adds create and update operations to the SalesOrderDetail object.
Some SAP connection default settings for the load balancer are now extensible.
