Dell Boomi has added the following improvements to the February 2017 release of Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
Atom Management Read Access
A new user privilege called Atom Management Read Access gives users the ability to view Atom, Molecule, and Atom Cloud settings but not modify them. Administrators can create a custom role that includes the Atom Management Read Access privilege and assign it to selected users. This privilege might be useful for a Support team or users who assist with troubleshooting.
In this release, the following Atom Management panels are available to users assigned a role with the Read Access privilege:
- Atom & Connector Versions
- Cluster Status
- Release Control Scheduling
- Atom Information
- Shared Queue Server
- MLLP Server
Note: Atom Management panels that are not yet available to users with the Read Access privilege are not enabled in the UI.
API components in integration packs
API components can now be published to the process library and assigned to integration packs. This capability enables you to deliver an API and its corresponding processes together in a single solution for end-users.
Database connectivity testing
For Database, Microsoft Azure SQL Database, and Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse connections, you can test that the entered connection information, such as username and password, is correct and works through a specified Atom, without needing to run or deploy a process.
Process library improvements
To facilitate process sharing, each process in the library has a unique URL. Browsing to a process’ URL opens the Browse Process Library dialog directly to that process.
- In that dialog:
- Processes can be sorted by date, popularity, and name.
- The process details screen lists dependent components.
