Dell Boomi has added the following improvements to the June 2017 release of Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
Trading Partner Management
With the new Trading Partner Management feature, you can see a list of all your trading partners as well as the standard and protocols that they use. This console gives you quick access to each partner’s settings, and with the group feature, you can see the number of partners and easily add or remove them from the group and view and edit each partner’s process route.
Atom Management Read Access
All Atom Management panels are now available to users who are assigned a role with the Atom Management Read Access privilege. Changes completing this enhancement are applied in this release to the Deployed Processes panel and the Data Maps tabs in the Atom Extensions and Environment Extensions dialogs.
AtomSphere and Partner API enhancements
The AtomSphere API and AtomSphere Partner API support a new operation called deployComponent. You can use deployComponent to copy any type of deployable component from one environment to another, including API components, certificates, custom libraries, processes, processing groups, and process routes.
These enhancements can help you manage your AtomSphere infrastructure:
- You can use multiple threads for purging Atom, Molecule, or Atom Cloud logs and data by specifying the Purge Manager Threads property (com.boomi.container.purge.numPurgeThreads). The default is 1.
- When you download an Atom, Molecule, or Atom Cloud’s log files and select the Include Configuration Files option in the Download Atom Logs dialog, the following files are now included with the logs:
These files can be useful for problem diagnosis.
- You can use the new com.boomi.container.securityCompatibility system property to control which Java security algorithms an Atom or Molecule supports.
Note: If you have an Atom that is running on OpenJDK, see the Boomi User Community knowledge base article about a Java security error related to this property. Note that Dell Boomi AtomSphere does not support OpenJDK. The Oracle JDK is the only supported JDK.
Google Pub/Sub connector
With the new Google Pub/Sub connector, you can quickly and easily build integrations with Google’s Cloud Pub/Sub messaging service, which provides one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many communications. Google Pub/Sub’s Acknowledgements provides guaranteed “at least once” delivery.
OData Client connector
The OData Client connector provides a v4.0 read option for querying applications that use the OData v4.0 standard protocol.
Note: OData 4.0 connectivity is a Tech Preview not intended for production use.
The Salesforce connector’s Query operation supports bulk queries, which is a more efficient way to query large sets of Salesforce data.
The new Shopify connector provides Query, Update, Create and other actions to Shopify’s customer, fulfillment, order, product, refund, and transaction objects.
The Connector SDK is updated to v1.2.16 effective with this release. For more information see the SDK changelog.
