Dell Boomi has added the following improvements to the August 2016 release of Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
Test mode process executions
This release provides access to historical information about test mode process executions.
- You can use the Execution Modes filter on the Process Reporting page to display test mode executions. By default, the Process Reporting page displays only executions of deployed processes. While you can review basic information about test mode executions, process and document logs and process execution details are not available.
- The AtomSphere API’s Execution Record object can be used to programmatically query for test mode executions, as well as executions of deployed processes. The executionType field supports a new TEST_MANUAL value.
AS2 throughput enhancements
AS2 log files are compressed to limit the storage size and file handling for high-volume AS2 integrations. You can control the number of days after which all log files are compressed by setting the Compress History after x Days property on the Properties panel.
Dynamic process routing
Improved control over the definition and execution of return paths is available. Now, you define return paths in the Process Route shaperather than the Process Route component, and you can change the order of return paths after they are defined. Additional usability improvements are also available.
NOTE: Dynamic process routing is a Tech Preview not intended for production use. Dynamic process routing is an optional account feature. If you would like to have this feature enabled in your account, contact your Dell Boomi representative.
Certificate components display chained certificates and provide detailed information about each certificate in the chain.
You can now control the percentage of nodes that are restarted simultaneously during a rolling restart. Use the Rolling Restart Cluster Restart Percentage property on the Properties panel to set a value from 0 to 100.
NOTE: A rolling restart cannot be performed for the August 2016 release. The update process is not compatible with earlier releases of AtomSphere because of work related to BOOMI-2958. All the nodes in a Molecule or Atom Cloud will be restarted simultaneously.
Trading Partner component enhancements
A new Where Used tab is added to the Trading Partner component that shows a list of processes that reference the trading partner.
Additionally, improved in-application help is added to the Options tab and the SFTP and AS2 methods on the Communication tab.
Process Options usability improvements
For accounts with the Services Enablement feature enabled, the Process Options pop-up dialog no longer appears when you create a process. Now, to change the Process Options, you can click Options from the Process canvas or click the Process Mode link within the Start shape.
Also, if your Process Options are not set in a recommended way, the Process canvas shows a warning icon to Confirm Process Options.
The Force Restart After X Minutes property moves from the Advanced tab to the Basic tab of the Properties panel.
The property Atom Time Zone is added to the Startup Properties panel.
